LASTMA official beat up a bus driver to death at Town Planing Way Ilupeju Lagos

According to an eye witness, LASTMA officials badly assaulted a bus driver at Town Planning, Lagos a few hours ago. The reason for the assault could not be accertained, as the The bus driver's conductor quickly rushed his boss to Gbagada hospital only for the driver to be confirmed dead at the hospital.
Sympathisers almost started a mini riot at the hospital, thanks to the timely intervention of Nigerian police who quickly restore peace.
But series of demonstrations have been going on ever since

As at time of this report, sympathisers are heading to Alausa with placards reading "LASTMA, come and carry ur dead body" "We dont want LASTMA in Lagos anymore" among others.
This is not the first or second time a LASTMA official will be assaulting a driver in Lagos State. We hope the Lagos State Government will intervene and find a lasting solution to the issue of LASTMA officials
